Adult Golf Lessons - Dennis Wells, PGA
Beginner “Golf 101” – These clinics are designed for beginning golfers who are interested in learning the basic skills needed to play golf: chipping, pitching, iron shots, the driver, and putting along with some rules and etiquette. Players will experience the most improvement by joining these monthly programs where they can learn and practice the required skills multiple times. Sessions are available on Wednesday mornings from 11:00-12:00 or Saturday mornings from 8:00-9:00 and run from March through October.
BREAKING 100 – So you’ve taken beginner golf classes and started to play on the course. The next goal is to break 100! According to statistics, only about half of all golfers score below 100 for 18 holes. This program is designed to put you in the top half of all golfers. We sharpen your basic fundamentals, identify the areas you need to improve, and get to work lowering your scores. The group meets on Thursdays evenings from 6:30-7:30 from April through September.
BREAKING 90 –You are an avid player and a bogey golfer at best. If you could just break 90, you could beat your buddies. Only one out of four golfers shoot scores below 90. We work extensively on your fundamentals and the scoring elements of the game, including course management and mental game. The group meets on Wednesday each week from 6:30-7:30, April-September.

New Student Assessment – This is the place to start! With Dennis, one size does NOT fit all. This initial session will allow us to determine where your game is currently, where you want to take it, and how we will get there. Whether you are a beginner trying to learn the basics, a weekend golfer trying to get the best of your buddies, or a competitive player trying to shave a stroke or two from your handicap, Dennis can help you develop a plan to achieve your goals. Based upon this assessment, Dennis will recommend an improvement plan tailored to fit your needs.
Private Monthly Program – If a set class does not work for your schedule or your prefer private instruction, you can still do a monthly program. Committing to a long-term program is the best way to see real improvement in your game. Private sessions may be scheduled at a time that works for you and Dennis. A typical monthly program will include 2 one-hour coaching sessions per month and one nine-hole session (2 hours) on the golf course every two months but can also be designed to fit your needs.
Small Groups – If you don’t want to learn by yourself and the group programs do not fit your schedule, you can learn with one or more of your friends.
